Collaborative Animation Workshop

IMG_9469Today’s second animation introduction workshop brought a new element of challenge with having to work with another person. Thankfully my partner for the day was Bel who has very similar colour palette and style tastes to me, so it was easy to come up with a composition we were both happy with. Bel worked on the foreground trees and mountains in the background, whilst I worked separately on the distant trees, sun and lake animations. It was tricky working on separate monitors but luckily the framing and colours matched up well in the end result.

After finishing the separate components in Photoshop we put the elements together on After Effects. Though I’m not a fan of After Effects, especially as the animation I like to create can be achieved on Photoshop, it was useful with changing the overall colours gradient through the clip.
