Bournemouth Pier

I’ve seen a new side to Bournemouth during both our tutor led and independent locational drawing days, as I am becoming more aware of things around me for observational drawings. Though I’ve been trying to keep my focus primarily on drawing, I couldn’t help taking some photographs to both work from later and keep as momentos of my experience.

The vibrant, though worn and faded, colours of the rides at the end of the pier especially caught my eye. Both the form structure and colours juxtaposed nicely with the natural sea and pier around it, giving an almost nostalgic feel.
